I'm not as smart as you Bird... but Pirates did take the Maersk Alabama an American flagged vessel hostage.

And yes, they do have a unified mission believe it or not. A trend threatening ports world wide.

Those vessels have billions of dollars of cargo on board... the pirates have nothing to loose, but everyone else does. I see things the public doesnt.

Transportation in every area is finally becoming a topic.

They arent firing on Navy vessels jackass.More like unarmed cargo ships, thats not really a brave act.Of course its saying fuck you to us but they will not have the balls to actually try to take an american one again for fear of getting killed.

They'll stick to chinese, french and other countries vessels who've already paid their ransoms.

Every other time the pirates have taken a ship they just creep up and board it with their speed boats and are on board without taking a shot.This is just retaliation for show.We are talking about drugged out somali teenagers here not an organized militia.

Not really. I think the pirates that attacked that cargo ship used almost the same tactics that they did on the one last week that they took over. They fired on it, ran the crew into a room onboard to get away from the bullets and then board when no one is outside. This crew just seemed to know how to get away using some tactics, which I read, have been somewhat successful in getting away from the smaller crafts these guys use.

I'm just telling you what I read about it.

I just think its pretty stupid to think that they are not going to try to take another American ship. I sort of agree with you, I dont' really think they have the intellect to give a shit or know much about the difference.
