You really need to do some more investigation on this. Laettner and Davis put up $40 million together with other investors putting up $320 million in order to buy 70% of the team. This puts Laettners direct ownership at some percentage of 7.8%.

And who owns the most shares?From what I read he's pulled in a lot of investors.Either way its pretty impressive when you consider Jordan tried for years to do the same thing and he has triple the money laetner has.

Everything I have read indicate Davis is. Ususally the guy with the most shares is managing partner, and in this case it is Davis.

I think you are WAAAY off how much more money MJ has than Laettner, too. But that is really just a guess, I have nothing to back that up. I would say it is closer to 10-20 times. Conservatively.

I agree with you on jordans $, just throwing a number out there but Jordan supposedly has a huge gambling problem(he can't go back to a few casino's till he pays them) so who knows.

Real estate investing. He got Laettner involved in the Durham projects. It is apparent they are both small holders in this, just being give the reigns by the money people, but it is privately held, so no one is saying who the big money guys are.
