I got mine yesterday. It is quite amazing to be able to hold every CD I've ever had, and songs I've downloaded. I still have 10 gigs of space left.

Here's some shit I suggest. Hopefully some of it is useful.

You want to protect your iPod from everyday use, and you especially want to protect the screen. I picked up one of these cases:

It has a screen protector and the case itself is very high quality. It's definately worth the extra $10 over the models you'd find at Best Buy.

If you get any scratches on your screen before you get a case, don't worry. Pick up a can of Brasso from a hardware store, rub it into the screen using a soft cloth, let that shit sit there for 10-15 minutes and then rub it off. Repeat if necessary. The screen should look brand new after 1 or 2 treatments.

You probably want to play the iPod in your car, and you have a couple of options for car installation. If your deck has RCA inputs on the back of it then you will only need a monster cable like this:

If your deck doesn't have RCA inputs on the back then you'll need some kind of FM modulator. I suggest a wired one instead of the wireless one, in my opinion you get better sound quality from the wired model. I went a couple of times. Water Street was great, Harleys up and down the street. I also went to see the guys from Orange County Choppers while they were there, I'll have to post the pics one of these days.
