I got mine yesterday. It is quite amazing to be able to hold every CD I've ever had, and songs I've downloaded. I still have 10 gigs of space left.

Here's some shit I suggest. Hopefully some of it is useful.

You want to protect your iPod from everyday use, and you especially want to protect the screen. I picked up one of these cases:

It has a screen protector and the case itself is very high quality. It's definately worth the extra $10 over the models you'd find at Best Buy.

If you get any scratches on your screen before you get a case, don't worry. Pick up a can of Brasso from a hardware store, rub it into the screen using a soft cloth, let that shit sit there for 10-15 minutes and then rub it off. Repeat if necessary. The screen should look brand new after 1 or 2 treatments.

You probably want to play the iPod in your car, and you have a couple of options for car installation. If your deck has RCA inputs on the back of it then you will only need a monster cable like this:

If your deck doesn't have RCA inputs on the back then you'll need some kind of FM modulator. I suggest a wired one instead of the wireless one, in my opinion you get better sound quality from the wired model. i wanted to go to that so damn bad but was outta town. did you go? We have customers in Oshkosh and Fon Du Lac so I go thru there all the time.

I went a couple of times. Water Street was great, Harleys up and down the street. I also went to see the guys from Orange County Choppers while they were there, I'll have to post the pics one of these days.

Next time you're in the area let me know and we'll grab a can of beer or two.
