OBAMA: "We have launched a housing plan that will help responsible families facing the threat of foreclosure lower their monthly payments and refinance their mortgages. It's a plan that won't help speculators or that neighbor down the street who bought a house he could never hope to afford, but it will help millions of Americans who are struggling with declining home values."

THE FACTS: If the administration has come up with a way to ensure money only goes to those who got in honest trouble, it hasn't said so.

It would be great if he could make this happen.

You act as if he didn't know it was in trouble when he ran for office, yet the truth is, he said he had people and plans to turn it around. I see neither.

And the market was on the upswing, since his plan and people have been in place it's dropped 1000 points.

If you're basing your confidence or lack there of in the economy on the movement of the 'market' then you're an idiot. I know people that work on the exchanges in Chicago and New York and they're not that smart. And they'll still make money out of this, buying and selling on the margins.

I'm pretty sure he was pretty general about the whole topic during his campaign because its a pretty broad problem that needs study and can't be fixed by flipping a switch.He does have the people and the plans.I'm sorry he didnt personally have them say hello to you and show you what they are working on.

Are you seriously trying to say he's the reason the markets down?Ok say he does nothing with the banks just to keep you happy and the stock market up for a little while longer.What happens when those banks close their doors forever because of the fucked up way they do business and you've got 1000's of defaulted mortgages and people living in the streets?Where does the market head at that point you fucking idiot?

Lets talk facts.Anyone see any outrageous spending by one political party recently?Which party was that?It can't be conservatives because they are the ones who don't like to spend a lot right?Right?
