Damn. The odds I saw had BYU at 200:1 and Xavier at 100:1. I took Xavier in that one.

I have seen them play since we get the A-10 televised locally and they blow.Drexel should be in instead of them. Its not a lock but I'm going with BYU.

UMass would have won a couple games in the big dance if they didn't lose that game to St. Louis. Stephane Lasme is solid.

I watched UMass last night. Not that impressive.I argued last night that the A-10 is the worst college basketball conference basing it on the fact that it should be good with teams like Temple, St Joe's, Umass, GW etc...As soon as Xavier became the team to beat the league fell apart.

Who's watching the tournament at work today?I break out a 10" TV we use to give small presentations and productivity drops by 60%.

What did you think of Lasme? I think he's got 4 or 5 triple doubles this year...first guy since JKidd or something. I haven't really seen him play much, though...Actually, I haven't really watched UMass since the days of Marcus Camby and Sweet Lou Roe.

I watched them on tuesday not last night.Anyway he looked decent, looks like he's got a good shot. Not sure if he's NBA bound.I hated Calipari when he was there because I love John Cheyney but now I wish he was back there so I could watch some decent basketball.I went to UMass one time and saw the locker that Dr J used when he was there.I'm hardcore like that.

I have a theory that the NCAA covered their ass by matching up Drexel vs NC St so they could justify leaving Drexel out of the tourney.I mean you take the top seeded team in the NIT and you match them up against an ACC team that just beat Duke and almost won the ACC tourney in the first round of the NIT?I know it was at home for Drexel but that matchup was bullshit.

I loved that press conference when Cheney came barging in yelling about choking Cal out...classic.

I actually think they did the same tough matchup thing to UMass, putting them with Alabama (albeit at home) in the first round.

BYU was the perfect matchup for Xaiver. Xavier had the low post presence that BYU could not deal with. Two totally different styles of play.

damn, man, i lost my pants betting byu cause you were sure they would win in a walk

wtf??

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

I knew I was wrong about 5 minutes into the game.It looked like exactly what it was,big black guys matching up against small white guys.BYU got up early when they were shooting well but after that they got pushed around.Xavier sucks for sure but that was the best matchup possible for them. They lose to Ohio State by 10.Don't bet on that.

What i have is commonly known as wisdom. I might now know all of the guys names or defensive strategies, but I have wisdom. This is one of BIRD33's shortcomings. Along with penis size and macking skillz.
