Has anyone here on IT ever eaten Cracklins?
#1

Not that shit you buy at a gas station in a plastic bag either..

I am talking about the real ones that have 1/4" of meat and 1/2" of fat deep friend, seasoned and served in a paper bag. The kind that if you leave them on your cloth seats for 3 minutes your truck will smell like grease for as long as you own it.

Yeah.. its nothing like you'd buy in the stores there. It has a sliver of meat followed by alot of fat.. they deep fry it and season it up real well. It runs $9 plus a pound.

I'd love to send some out but the shit dosen't keep. Its good for about 2 or 3 hours then it gets pretty nasty. I went in that store saturday to get some and they were making fresh hogs head cheese. That shit was $7.50 a pound..

I have never eaten that shit.
