I like it. Yeah, it sucks to lose Lee...but they were going to in the offseason anyway. They have an immediate outfielder right now and a closer/setup man to compliment Turnbow. Plus a decent prospect in Nix. If Cordero/Turnbow get on their game, they will be one of the best 8th & 9th inning combos in the majors.

He didn't mind playing for Milwaukee, but they wouldn't have been able to afford him because of the offers he'd receive from other teams this offseason. Maybe if the class of free agents didn't suck this year they would have had a shot? If Texas doesn't lock him up then someone will overpay for him.

It sucks losing Cruz, but they can plug Nix in right if needed when Geoff Genkins breaks his leg and both arms while sliding into 2nd later this year.
