Well to be honest, usually those satirical cartoons are pretty dead on with their analogies. That one I didn't really get no matter how you look at it. If they meant shooting a crazy monkey because only a crazy person would come up with a stimulus plan like that, then that doesn't make much sense and isn't really funny. Or if they meant that a negro and a monkey are pretty much the same thing, so that didn't make much sense either.

I just don't really think the thing was very funny no matter how you view it.

I think we all can see how the message some people got was "we need a new monkey to write the stimulus package" which is a little crazy considering some people consider blacks like Obama to be monkeys.There are other more artful ways to put his point out there if he didnt intend to come off racist.

well considering the chimp story who ripped the woman face I could honestly think that the comic designer was really thinking about this story and didn't had any bad thoughts.

Meanwhile if it's true that W had been consistently portrayed as a monkey (something that we are all remember dudes) anyhow he was portrayed as a "human looking monkey" and no really a "monkey looking monkey".

Now I'm not sure where this whole stuff goes, seriously I'm inclined to store it under "colossal failure" rather than "colossal evil".
