yeah he isn't a forward or stryker so he doesn't score all that much. he is pretty much a glorified defender thats past his prime. I have watched many a soccer game.

Most of "famous" soccer players are forwards: Diego Maradona, Ronaldo, Pele, Jurger Klensman (sp?), etc etc

there are tons of famous midfielders.People who watch soccer don't watch it for the scoring.Your looking at this from a purely american standpoint.
