Most colleges have men and womens programs. The womens program actually set a school record for victories this year. That might be what you are thinking of. Also, the softball team has won a few championships and they are ranked in the top 5 every year. That might have thrown you off too.

Hope that helps

Yeah NC state ran them last year but they couldn't shoot.

Louisiana-Lafayette sealed its fourth straight 20-win season, fifth Sun Belt tournament title and fourth straight postseason bid (including NIT selections in 2002 and '03). The Ragin' Cajuns last made the NCAAs in consecutive years in 1982-83, when the school was known as University of Southwestern Louisiana.

They have been there before actually upsetting Oklahoma in 91 as a 14 seed.

they got a raw deal
might have won as a 12 seed

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.
