In real life losing 20 consecutive bets, who had been doubled or tripled brings you to the unpleasing reality of being broke to the most painful extend (if you had that much money). Statistics tells you that playing this kind of stuff brings you money, probability says yeah there are going to be x draws positives for you, but it doesn't say if it's a discrete serie of draws.
