Santana to Mets?

you must be thinking of someone else, because you're not this dumb.

Burrell has TWO seasons of 100+ rbi, THREE seasons of 30+ hr, and ZERO seasons hitting above .300.

Manny went 30/100 for nine straight seasons, in 7 of which he hit over .300.

in Burrell's best season (2002) he hit 37/116/.282...Manny has at least 5 seasons where all 3 numbers were better.

I'm not saying I came up with this theory.I think it was comparing their last 4 seasons against each other and Burrel was close.

I would love to watch SportCenter just once and not here..."Since acquiring _______ from Minnesota __________ is immediately a playoff contender"

Is that really too much to ask?

Fukking sucks losing player to big market franchises.

Scrappy teams are notorious for having some of the best returns on 'gamble' draft picks. Only to develop them and lose them to free agency.

I'd move but that has little to do with the sports.

Mets don't seem to have given up a ton.

dint the sawx and the yanks each offer more??
what's that aboot?

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

but both the other deals looked much better on paper
