Good idea. Make it lucrative for her to kill you and then piss her off on Valentines Day. You should probably say she looks fat in whatever she's wearing. If she's on the rag, all the better. Is she good with handguns?

shit, i think any guy who does not get roses (or other flowers) for his woman on valentine's day is just plain foolish

in fact, any guy who does not purchase flowers regularly for the little lady has no understanding of the way things work

Confusednarg:

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

ahhh but the trick is to get them when they are least expected...no matter what day of the year it is.

100% understanding of the principle
nothing wrong with flowers on the expected days as well

OK, you're right. I'm sorry, cheap wasn't the right word. I just meant that you should do something nice for your wife, and you don't have to spend $$ to do that.

For your info, I dashed over to the mall at lunch, and bought a nice braclett, flowers, and card.

just got Mrs. What? a dozen roses. Will add a card and dinner that I would have had to take her for anyway (going to our favorite Mexican place, we have to go at least once a week). Total = $45, but only $22 more than I would have spent anyway.
