It paid out 1 to 3, not 3 to 1.
I bet 2K, won 666. I should have won 6K.
Fukker! This shit is important.

You're missing the point. Beckett should have been 2-1 not 1-2, and Clement 3-1 not 1-3. There's a difference.
I wagered $2000.
I won the bet.
The bet paid me $666. I won the bet, and lost $1334.

no, you get your original 2000 back in addition to whatever you won
I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk. A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind. A need to return to genuine practice, right effort. Need to push on the great doubt. Need for the spirit. Hang on to the clear light.

So I had to wager $2000 to win $600? On Matt Clement? That's worth it.

fuck you guys. I make the bets based on the casinos sports book odds. Clement was the favorite becasue no one knew what they'd get out of beckett. He suprised everyone by starting out hot.. then suprised no one by getting hurt.
