as Vegas prosecutors have filed a criminal complaint against former Boston Celtic player Antoine Walker because of a gambling debt, $822,500 to be exact, that has not been paid back to three Las Vegas casinos.
Walker reportedly owes $1 million combined at Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood and Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The 32-year-old allegedly wrote 10 bad checks for a combined total of a cool $1 million, six checks for $100,000 were made out to Caesars Palace, two checks for $100,000 made out to Planet Hollywood, and two $100,000 checks made out to Red Rock Resort.
Chief Deputy District Attorney Bernie Zadrowski stated that Walker has paid back some of the debt, but $822,500 is still owed. Walker faces three felony counts in writing bad checks. A warrant has now been issued for his arrest. His attorney, Jonathan Powell, declined to comment on the case.
Okay readers, leave your comments and tell me your thoughts. Where in the world did his money go? A source told the Memphis Commercial Appeal that he was paid out around 95 percent of his remaining $9.3 million salary with the Grizzlies last December.
