Quit or kill yourself!
#1

Quote:Iowa Sen. Charles Grassley suggested that AIG executives should accept responsibility for the collapse of the insurance giant by resigning or killing themselves.

The Republican lawmaker's harsh comments came during an interview Monday with Cedar Rapids, Iowa, radio station WMT. They echo remarks he has made in the past about corporate executives and public apologies, but went further in suggesting suicide.

"I suggest, you know, obviously, maybe they ought to be removed," Grassley said. "But I would suggest the first thing that would make me feel a little bit better toward them if they'd follow the Japanese example and come before the American people and take that deep bow and say, I'm sorry, and then either do one of two things: resign or go commit suicide.
"And in the case of the Japanese, they usually commit suicide before they make any apology."

Insert clever, witty and amusing signature here.

Wouldnt seeing Mccains reaction to this crisis be priceless since he admitted to not knowing much about the economy?Would we be in the 2nd month of his suspended presidency while he deals with the economy?

Did you see the flack that Obama was catching because his people are saying that the "economy is fundamentally sound". I guess that was their buzz word this week on the talk shows Sunday

anyway, the media immediately picked up on it because Obama spent so much time last fall blasting McCain when he used those exact same words.

We all knew then just like we know now. McCain was saying that so everyone wouldn't lose confidence in the Republican party. Obama is saying the same thing now because he needs everyone to get their confidence back in the economy because he knows that is the key to turning it around.

Just funny how quick the worm turns.

Did you see that where Fox news had to come out and apologize for using a video of Joe Biden mocking Mccain by repeating his "the fundamentals of the economy are strong" line?Fox put it out there like Biden said it last week when in fact he said it 6 months ago in order to mock mccain and the context was all construed to make fox news viewers feel better.Quite a "news" organization there.
